Nova Large Woven Seagrass Tray

Handcrafted, large woven twisted seagrass tray, made by artisanal craftspeople of Vietnam. A sturdy and shallow tray with handles at either end, ideal for serving bread, snacks or fruit. Woven using a range of traditional basket-making techniques, this natural seagrass basket starts off a vivid green when first picked, as it dries, it turns into the beautifully soft neutral colour you see here. The handmade process means each basket is unique and may differ slightly from piece to piece, we feel these different characteristics remind us of the humble and charming process each basket goes through.

Our Nova basket has been handmade using traditional basket weaving tools and techniques that showcase the skills of the local Vietnamese craftspeople.

The Nova is the perfect addition to a kitchen table setting, I like to use mine to serve warm bread or snacks. I think the texture of this natural material is great and would also style this tray on top of the Lucas console.
