Curating high-quality, local or small batch crafted pieces from a community of creatives and craftsmen, each piece is timeless, functional and covetable. From our made-to-order furniture to conscious textiles, ceramics, artwork and more, each piece has been carefully considered to add warmth and style to your interior.

Helen & Philip

Founders.

Since 2018, Helen has become a leading interior design authority online, thanks to her unique mix of successful renovation projects, humble interior design tips and wholesome past times, all of which reflects her vision of a simpler yet richer life. Joined in business by husband Philip in 2021, Cohen & Co has become a family-founded interior design business. Philip’s experience in business complements Helen’s creative vision and between them they drive the Cohen & Co ethos daily.

Makers.

At the heart of Cohen & Co is a commitment to supporting and sustaining craftsmanship, creativity and age-old techniques. We celebrate and value the skilled work of artisans and it's a privilege to play a role in the continuation of these practices. We collaborate with makers right across Northern Ireland and from further afield to bring you the very best in contemporary design rooted in tradition. When browsing our store, you’ll discover that the workmanship and quality of our pieces is of the highest standard. We work with our local carpenters who create our made-to-order furniture range, our local ceramists who hand throw our tableware pieces and Belfast based artists who paint emotive landscapes, among many more. We believe that our makers help make Cohen & Co who we are, and we feel privileged to work along with them.

Materials.

Everything Cohen & Co does, from selecting fabrics to choosing who to collaborate with represents a dedication to quality, sustainability and longevity. Prioritising sustainable and natural fabrics is a key part of our ethos and it’s no more evident than in our textiles collection, you’ll discover flax seed linen, pure wool and natural, low-impact cotton. When it comes to our made-to-order furniture collection, all the timber is FSC certified, the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) promotes responsible forestry and certifies forests from all over the world to ensure they meet the highest environmental and social standards.

Community.
