Emily Nelson
Emily Nelson was born in Brighton to Irish parents, and spent many childhood holidays in Ireland. She studied at Central St Martin’s College of Art & Design, London, 2003-2006. Emily is an impressionist, realist artist, working with oil as her preferred medium, Nelson also enjoys working in watercolour, acrylic, pencil, pen and ink. When Nelson draws or paints, she becomes totally absorbed in the colour, form and composition before me. Nelson aims for her work to provoke a response in people and put them in touch with their feelings. The common theme in all of her paintings is colour, for its power to create atmosphere and mood.
