Alba Mini Round Seagrass Basket

Handcrafted, round mini storage basket, made by artisanal craftspeople of Vietnam. A practical, functional and sturdy basket to use for storage or as decoration. Using a range of traditional basket-making techniques, this natural seagrass basket is wrapped and woven in white binding to create the unique pattern. When the makers pick the seagrass from the fields, it starts off a vivid green, as it dries, it turns into the beautifully soft neutral colour you see here. The handmade process means each basket is unique and may differ slightly from piece to piece, we feel these different characteristics remind us of the humble and charming process each basket goes through.
